Valencia, 03 september 2026 – On September 5 and 6, Valencia will host the Spain Sail GP for the first time, bringing one of the world’s most spectacular sailing competitions to the city. Valencia is getting ready to become one of the world’s major sailing hotspots this weekend as the Spain Sail Grand Prix makes its debut in the city. On September 5 and 6, SailGP’s high-tech F50 catamarans will race off the Valencian coast at speeds exceeding 100 km/h.
Valencia’s addition to the Rolex SailGP Championship calendar is another recognition of the city’s ability to host major international events. While showcasing some of its strongest assets to a global audience: its connection to the Mediterranean, outstanding sailing conditions and a growing ecosystem around innovation, technology and the blue economy.

The Marina will become the heart of the event. With the racecourse located just off the coast and a large waterfront grandstand bringing spectators close to the action.
