Valencia, 20 August 2026 – Invest in Valencia will participate in TechBBQ 2026, one of the leading startup, technology and investment events in the Nordic ecosystem, with the aim of positioning Valencia as a destination for investment, innovation and the growth of international technology companies.
Held in Copenhagen, TechBBQ started in 2013 as a gathering for entrepreneurs and technology professionals and has since evolved into an international summit connecting startups, scaleups, investors, corporations and institutions from around the world over two days.
Invest in Valencia’s participation will provide an opportunity to showcase what the city has to offer to one of Europe’s most dynamic technology ecosystems. And establish new connections with companies exploring expansion into Southern Europe.
Identifying new international projects for Valencia

The 2026 edition, under the theme “Emerging from Agency”, will explore some of the transformations reshaping the global economy. With a particular focus on areas such as artificial intelligence, deep tech, robotics, dual-use technologies and new technological infrastructures.
Participation will also provide an opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the evolution of the Nordic ecosystem. Identify emerging trends and innovation models, and strengthen Valencia’s relationships with other European technology hubs.
