Valencia among the Top 30 global congress destinations
According to the 2024 report by the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA), Valencia hosted 51 international congresses in 2023. These results are the outcome of sustained collaboration among the key stakeholders of València’s congress ecosystem. From venue and tourism promotion entities to universities, professional associations, sectoral clusters, and public institutions. A shared strategy that strengthens the city’s organizational capacity and global connectivity.
A strategic asset for economic development and investment attraction
At Invest in Valencia, we emphasize the value of these events as a driver of economic growth, international visibility, and new investment attraction. The congress and events sector not only stimulates the local business ecosystem. But also positions Valencia as a competitive hub for companies looking to establish themselves in an innovative, sustainable, and strategically connected environment with Europe and the Mediterranean.
With a clear strategy to boost MICE tourism (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Exhibitions), and in collaboration with key players such as Feria Valencia, the city continues to take confident steps towards becoming a global center for knowledge, innovation, and business.
