The Italian tech company Cloudia Research sets up in Valencia to launch its global expansion

Cloudia Research, an Italian company specializing in advanced technology solutions for business digitalization, has selected Valencia for its first headquarters outside of Italy. Listed on the Italian Stock Exchange (Euronext Growth Milan), the company was welcomed in a ceremony by Paula Llobet, Councilor for Tourism, Innovation, and Investment Attraction, alongside representatives from Cámara Valencia and the Invest in Valencia team.

“Our commitment to internationalization and attracting investment through the Invest in Valencia office is yielding excellent results,” explains Paula Llobet. “With Cloudia Research, we’ve now successfully brought 20 companies to Valencia, creating quality jobs, attracting talent, and significantly impacting our local economy. These initiatives are key to positioning Valencia as a Mediterranean innovation and technology hub.”

Since July 2023, Invest in Valencia has facilitated the relocation of 20 companies to Valencia, generating approximately 290 jobs with estimated salaries of €16 million and a real estate investment of €4.5 million.

Cloudia Research’s newly appointed CEO for Spain, Özgür Özdemircili, spearheading this international expansion, noted: “Our presence in Valencia marks a crucial step in our global growth, while also fostering quality employment in advanced technology, consulting, and digital transformation. We’re dedicated to developing local talent by collaborating with universities and investing in continuous learning to meet the region’s demand for tech skills.”

Paula Llobet further praised the move: “We are delighted that this tech company has chosen Valencia for its international expansion, reaffirming our city’s attractiveness as a strategic destination for technology companies aiming to expand their European footprint. This will generate new business and employment opportunities in key digital innovation sectors.”

Cloudia Research is currently hiring 8 new employees at its Valencia headquarters and has opened 12 additional vacancies for specialized positions, including Commercial Director, Sales Managers, Solutions Architects in Cloud and Artificial Intelligence, and Customer Success Managers. The company expects to exceed 50 employees by 2025, further consolidating its presence in Valencia and offering more opportunities in the tech sector.

Moreover, Cloudia Research is collaborating with local universities to implement its Cloudia Academy program in Valencia, focusing on advanced training in artificial intelligence, cloud technologies, and digital transformation skills. This initiative aims to nurture the city’s technological competencies and prepare future digital experts.

Founded in Milan in 2016, Cloudia Research has become a leader in digital transformation, offering cutting-edge solutions in artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and customer relationship management. This expansion strengthens its global commitment to technological innovation while contributing to Valencia’s growth as a leading tech hub in Southern Europe.

Özgür Özdemircili added: “Our stock market presence allows us to drive significant investments in Valencia’s tech infrastructure, reinforcing its role in the European digital economy and positioning the city as a frontrunner in technology-driven innovation.”
