Shibata Fender Team inaugurates its new factory in Sollana.

Valencia, June 12, 2025 – On June 10, the Japanese company Shibata Fender Team officially inaugurated its new production plant in the Sollana Industrial Park (Valencia), marking the culmination of a strategic project that began just a year ago, when the company laid the first stone in a ceremony that already hinted at its strong commitment to our region.

The new factory, specialized in the production of marine fenders and protection systems for port infrastructures, is now fully operational. This investment not only enhances the group’s production capacity in Europe. It also creates skilled employment and strengthens the logistics, industrial, and maritime network of the Valencian Region.

“We chose Valencia for its excellent connectivity, the quality of its workforce, and the strong institutional support. This project reflects our confidence in the region’s long-term growth potential,” said Shibata Fender Team’s management during the event.

An investment driving the Valencian industrial ecosystem

At Invest in Valencia, we celebrate this milestone as a clear example of the kind of projects that consolidate our region as a European benchmark in foreign direct investment.
