Valencia, June 17, 2025 – Opentop, the innovation hub of Valenciaport, has officially launched its call for startups, scale-ups, and tech SMEs interested in participating in the third edition of the Port Entrepreneurship International Congress (PEIC), to be held on October 22 at the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia. The event is part of the Valencia Digital Summit (VDS) and has become a key international meeting point for open innovation in the port-logistics sector.
Until July 10, companies interested in applying can submit their proposals via the official Opentop website. The organization will select 20 innovative and scalable tech projects that will have the opportunity to present their solutions before industry leaders, investors, and members of the Port Innovators Network (PIN).
Boosting innovative talent from Valencia
Selected projects will benefit from strategic visibility within the PEIC: they will pitch on the main stage, participate in exclusive networking activities, and showcase their solutions at the Opentop stand, alongside major players in the port ecosystem.
The call is especially aimed at established startups with a functional product and initial sales. Particular value will be placed on projects aligned with blue economy, logistics resilience, environmental sustainability, and the energy transition.
A step forward in positioning Valencia as an international benchmark
This initiative strengthens Valencia’s role as a hub for port innovation and as a city committed to sustainable transformation. Through actions like PEIC, connections between entrepreneurial talent, industry, and institutions are encouraged—creating a positive impact on the region’s competitiveness.
