Valencia, March 31, 2026 – At Invest in Valencia, we held a new aftercare event aimed at international companies established in the city, within the framework of the exhibition “Foc al desert. El Temple del Burning Man”, curated by Valencian architect Miguel Arraiz at the Territorial College of Architects of Valencia (CTAV).
This gathering brought the international business community closer to one of the most relevant creative projects recently developed by Valencian talent on a global scale. Reinforcing the link between culture, innovation, and the city’s international projection.
An aftercare event to strengthen the international community
The event was part of our aftercare strategy, designed to support, retain, and create added value for international companies already established in the city.
Through this type of initiative, Valencia not only consolidates its attractiveness as an investment destination. It also promotes spaces for connection between companies, talent, and the local ecosystem, fostering long-term relationships.
The visit featured the participation of Miguel Arraiz himself, who offered a guided tour of the exhibition and shared firsthand insights into the creative and conceptual process behind the project.
From Valencia to the Nevada desert: local talent with global impact
The exhibition showcases the development of the Temple of the Deep, the central structure of the Burning Man 2025 festival, designed by Miguel Arraiz, making him the first Spanish architect to lead this iconic project.
Burning Man, held in the Black Rock Desert (Nevada), brings together more than 70,000 people in a temporary city where art, community, and experimentation take center stage.
In this context, the temple represents a symbolic space of collective memory that culminates in its burning. Deeply connecting with Valencia’s Fallas tradition and projecting this cultural identity onto the international stage.
Architecture, culture, and international positioning
The exhibition highlights the connection between Valencian ephemeral architecture and one of the most influential cultural festivals in the world, demonstrating the capacity of the local creative ecosystem to generate globally impactful projects.
These initiatives reinforce Valencia’s positioning as an innovative, creative, and globally open city. Capable of exporting talent and attracting international projects in sectors such as architecture, design, and the creative economy.
They also show how culture and creativity can act as key drivers for attracting investment and talent, aligning with the city’s international promotion strategy.
Invest in Valencia: supporting beyond establishment
Through this event, Invest in Valencia reaffirms its commitment to international companies. Not oly offering support during their landing process but also continuous assistance through initiatives that generate value, networking, and connection with the local ecosystem.
