Zoho chooses Valencia for its first headquarters in Spain

Valencia, November 27, 2025 – Zoho, a renowned international technology company, has inaugurated its first headquarters in Spain, located on Passeig Russafa in Valencia. With over 1,000 square meters, this new space will not only serve as the company’s operations center for Southern Europe. But also fits into Zoho’s Transnational Localism strategy, aimed at strengthening foreign direct investment, promoting self-sufficient local economies, and supporting sustainability.

Local and International Commitment

The inauguration was presided over by Paula Llobet, Councillor for Tourism, Innovation, and Investment Attraction at the Valencia City Council, who highlighted the city’s growing position as the leading innovation hub in the Mediterranean. “Our commitment is to continue attracting international talent and generating quality employment, which are key aspects to strengthen our economy and business ecosystem,” commented Llobet.

Sridhar Iyengar, Zoho’s General Manager in Europe, emphasized the company’s strong growth in the last five years, with a 70% increase in its activities. According to Iyengar, Valencia is a strategic point due to its innovative spirit and local talent, which has allowed Zoho to develop a solid base of over 12,000 companies and public institutions as clients.

A Growing Investment Model

Zoho’s expansion project in Valencia started in 2021, initially with just two people. Today it serves over 1,000 multinational clients. Thanks to constant investment, Zoho has increased its capital by 40%, consolidating its presence in the city and generating skilled employment. In fact, 80% of its workforce comes from the local area, highlighting the region’s talent potential and reinforcing the importance of public-private collaboration, a point emphasized by Llobet during the inauguration.

Furthermore, Ester Olivas, the General Director of Entrepreneurship and Internationalization at the Generalitat Valenciana, underlined the significance of this strategic decision: “It is excellent news that a global technology company like Zoho has chosen Valencia. We are committed to continuing to create an environment that supports the arrival and development of companies that prioritize sustainability, technology, and Valencian talent.”

This success of Zoho in Valencia demonstrates the city’s potential to attract high-value foreign investment, with a strong focus on innovation and quality employment. Two fundamental pillars in Valencia’s internationalization and economic growth strategy.

At Invest in Valencia, we are proud that companies like Zoho are establishing themselves in our city.
