Valencia, November 6, 2025 – The Inditex Group has confirmed the acquisition of a plot of more than 380,000 m² in Parc Sagunt II for a total amount of €78.5 million, with the aim of building a new strategic logistics center next to the future PowerCo gigafactory, the battery subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group.
This transaction, completed in cash through its subsidiary Alveston ITG, marks another milestone in the consolidation of Sagunto as a key industrial hub on the Mediterranean corridor. Demostrating the strength of the Valencian Region as an investment destination.
A new driver for Valencia’s industrial ecosystem
The new Inditex logistics center adds to the ongoing projects of Tempe and Bershka in Parc Sagunt, further strengthening the group’s presence in the region. With this move, the textile giant consolidates its global distribution network from a strategic location. Connected to the Port of Valencia, the Mediterranean Corridor, and the A-7 motorway, optimizing its operational capacity while reducing transit times and emissions across its supply chain.
The choice of Sagunto over other evaluated locations, such as the industrial corridors of Cheste or Riba-roja, highlights the area’s strong logistics appeal, availability of high-quality industrial land, and long-term territorial planning offered by the Valencia metropolitan area.
Opportunities for employment and talent attraction
The development of this project will generate a significant boost in both direct and indirect employment across the Camp de Morvedre region. Increasing demand for technical, engineering, and logistics profiles, as well as auxiliary and technology-related services.
In addition, the establishment of Inditex alongside the upcoming Volkswagen gigafactory reinforces the creation of an innovative business ecosystem, where large multinational companies coexist with local suppliers and startups linked to electric mobility, automation, and industrial digitalization.
Valencia, epicenter of the new Mediterranean industrial map
The arrival of Inditex to Parc Sagunt II not only consolidates Valencia’s role as a leading logistics and production platform in southern Europe. But also strengthens the city’s position as an attractive destination for international investment and qualified talent.
At Invest in Valencia, we welcome this new establishment. Which reinforces our vision of a dynamic, connected, and sustainable region.
