Valencia, September 25, 2025 – Our city is moving steadily towards a more connected future. The Government has announced an investment of €400 million in Valencia Airport between 2027 and 2031, a figure twelve times higher than the previous allocation. Placing our city at the center of Spain’s national airport modernization strategy.

With more than 56,000 companies depending on air transport, and being the third province in Spain in terms of GDP contribution, Valencia is fully aware of the importance of having infrastructure that matches its economic weight and international projection.
The planned expansion of the infrastructure will not only guarantee greater operational capacity. But will also consolidate Valencia as one of the main gateways to the Mediterranean. This improvement strengthens the city’s position as a strategic platform for connections between Europe, Africa, and Latin America, fostering the establishment of foreign companies and the development of new investment projects.
