Smart Business returns to València

The Universitat Politècnica de València to Become the International Hub for Green Innovation This June with Smart Business

  • The City of Innovation will host the 5th edition of the International Congress Smart Business: Innovation & Values on June 5.

  • Among the keynote speakers are Gokcin Cinar, a researcher in electrified aircraft propulsion projects at NASA; Dustin Tingley, from Harvard Business School; and David Stainforth, Professor and Researcher in climate strategy at the London School of Economics.

On June 5, the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) will become a hub of innovation and sustainability. That day, it will host the fifth edition of the International Congress Smart Business: Innovation & Values.

The event will take place in the Cubo Azul Auditorium at the City of Innovation. It will bring together 30 international experts from academic, business, and scientific fields. Together, they will explore innovative strategies to drive the green transition.

Under the theme “Best Innovative Strategies for Leading a Green Transition”, this congress is one of the most prominent events of the year in Valencia in the fields of innovation, technology, sustainability, and human values in organizations. Throughout the day, it will offer a unique platform for exchanging ideas and experiences on energy, mobility, climate, digitalization, and sustainability. All with a single goal: to contribute to the shift toward green innovation and its integration in organizations.

International speakers

Confirmed speakers include:

  • Gokcin Cinar, researcher in electrified aircraft propulsion projects at NASA and Director of the Environmentally Sustainable Aerospace Systems Design Lab at the University of Michigan.

  • Dustin Tingley, Professor of Public Policy and expert in energy transition and climate change at Harvard Business School.

  • David Stainforth, Professor and Researcher in climate strategy at the London School of Economics.

Also noteworthy is the participation of:

  • Alicia Muñoz Lombardía, Deputy Secretary of the Board of Directors at Banco Santander España.

In addition, the congress will feature 25 executives from companies, research centers, and public institutions.
